I used to offer general tourism services like urban or cultural guiding because I can tell you the story behind every monument, every place and every corner in the area I am specialized: The Southwest of Colombia. I am a certified tour guide.

But thanks to the new world we have today, I changed everything in my life because I am also a nature lover, I have special training to take you on tours around our overwhelming natural places and I am also a certified birding guide.

Today I take visitors to the best birding places in my birding area: Valle del Cauca. I know most of the places, local guides, transportation, lodging and food services for the birders.

I also offer conservation services for private natural reserves or birding places, either if they are already open to the public, planning to open or staying private for ever. We have one of the biggest databases on local plants for reforestation projects and we also have a computerized load capacity calculator to be sure that your place is sustainable.

At last, but not less important, I am the editor of a virtual birding magazine (@zwexpeditions) and today the magazine gets readers all around the world thanks to its format: It is designed to be read and distributed by WhatsApp, so we know to who it is getting directly, but everybody resends it to many other friends and that is how now we are receiving questions from the last corners of the planet.

We have an Instagram account that we would love you to visit: @zwexpeditions. There you will find the most beautiful birding photos of local species with a little bit of info about them.

Obviously, I am still a general tourism guide, and I can take you anywhere inside my knowledge area: Valle del Cauca, Pacífico, Eje Cafetero (Caldas, Quindio y Risaralda), Cauca, Nariño, Huila y Boyacá.

So, if you are looking for someone to make your trip the best birding or  travel experience in your life, that’s me.
